  • Aurangzeb was the sixth Mughal emperor for a period of 49 years. He spent a lot of money on military wars and was waited to be emperor for 21 years.
  • Before he became Emperor, he threw his father, Shah Jahan, and killed two of his brothers.
  • In 1669, Aurangzeb began to teardown hindu temples and religious paintings.
  • He did it hoping non muslims will convert to islam
  • then he took off Akbar's policy making the taxes to non muslims come back.
  • They rebelled and destroyed akbars tomb as revenge
  • In 1707, Aurangzeb died and the munghal empire died with him.
