Mrs. White: Why didn't I think of it before? Why didn't you think of it?! The Monkey's Paw, where is it? Mr. White: Downstairs, why? Mrs. White: We still have more wishes! I can wish my son alive again! Mr. White: It is foolish! We can't even recognize him, why would we- Mrs. White: You killed my son! Mr. White: ......
Mr. White then hesitantly goes downstairs in search of the paw. He finds it but refuses to make the wish.
BANG! BANG! BANG!
Mrs. White comes downstairs. Mrs. White: Make the wish. Mr. White: It is foolish, mother, please! Mrs. White: MAKE THE WISH! Mr. White then wishes into the paw for his son to be alive again. After that, they both go back upstairs and go back to sleep.
My son... Herbert...
Herbert woke from his dirt nap and climbed out of the ground and started toward his old home.
Mrs. White woke up to the sound of banging on the front door downstairs. Mrs. White: I had forgotten that it was only two miles away! I'm coming my son! She went downstairs while Mr. White chased after her, telling her it's foolish to let it inside.
Before Mrs. White could open the door for her undead son, Mr. White made his last wish using the Monkey's Paw and wished for his son, Herbert, to be gone. Storyboard by Keira Vecchi and Brendan Strom.
