- Every morning Bob the Medical Technologist wakes up and heads to work.

- When Bob gets to work, a boy wants to donate his blood to a cancer patient. He first must test his blood for any diseases and see what blood type. The boy told the nurse he wanted to be a Medical Technologist. He asks her the educational requirements and average salary.

- The nurse gives Bob the blood for testing. As she walks away, she tells him the boy wants to have a job like him. Bob looks at her and laughs. He says in this job we have to work in difficult conditions but on the bright side we do choose when we want to work.

- Bob quickly sends the blood out to the cancer hospital to give to a patient.
