  • British should not tax my cattle because they do not  raise them
  • These taxes are too high, I can't afford for them to be imported
  • As a school teacher paper was endsentral but extremely pricey
  • Pay taxes
  • When the Townshend act was passed the British taxed imported goods even though they did not produce them.  
  • Glassmaking was a family business in my family but now we have no customers because of the taxes
  • The imported products came to be more stressful when colonists struggled to pay for them, these also consisted of every day items.

  • Schools were geting more expense in order to pay for this tax many colonists were angry and started an uprising.

  • Overall the Townshend Act taxed everyday items that the colonist used and taxed items that were imported so that the British could play for the war.
  • Samuel Adams was the man who created the Sons of Liberty group they went around town and burned unpopular tax colectors.
