Storyboard Text

  • The final emperor of the Han Dynasty resigned in 220. The main reason for the colapse of the empire was coruption in the government.
  • After the fall of the Han Dynasty, China was split into 3 kingdoms, each consiting of their own rulers. The 3 kingdoms were named Wei, Wu Shu-Han.
  • Li Yuan took control of China after the fall of The Sui Dynasty. He would soon start the Dynasty of the Tang.
  • While the Tang didn't make many military advancements, they did make many innovations in art including calligraphy, portraits, and sculpting.
  • After the fall of the Tang, the Song Dynasty came to power. The Song had long-term control of China and they strengthened education as well as created civil service exams.
  • During the Golden Age of the Song, they were able to make many innovations. Some include better farming tools, the crossbow, statues, and gunpowder.
