Selene, the Moon goddess is in love with Apollo as he weeps over the destruction, and death of Phaethon.
Selene found tiny shards of the sun strewn across the earth and decides to call then stars and make shapes out of them and the tradition if honoring gods in the sky began. They were called constellations.
Selene tells Apollo about her idea to make Phaethon his own constellation and Apollo is thrilled and wishes her good luck on her journey to convince the gods.
Out of love, Selene bravely convinces the gods to let Phaethon to have his own constellation even though they are very reluctant at first.
Selene is so happy to see Apollo happy when Phaethon's constellation is made and thinks that he would love her now for sure.
But sadly fro Selene Apollo didn't love her just because she did something nice for her, and the only times they ever saw each other again was when the moon and the sun crossed paths.
