She gets home she waits for her husband to get home and as she waiting shes dreaming about how much better her life would be if she was rich.She was rich younger so she was used to the luxurious life she used to have.
Her husband comes home a with a big envelope in his hand and the envelope is a invite to go to the ball. The husband is confused because she starts crying, but not tears of joy but more sad than happy.She was crying because she had nothing nice to were.
She borrows some clothes from her friend that owns a shop, she borrows some pearls also. Then they both head over to the ball and start having a good time dancing together.
After the ball they start heading home after the ball and then she tells him what a great time she had.And he also had a great time hanging out with friends.
Then they get home then her husband notices that the pearls are missing from her neck. Then he asks her if she took them off and she replied no, so then they start searching the streets and cannot find them them she pays her friend the money she owes her, and she didn't even have to pay for them.
