That flapper over there is a moll!
Really, I had no idea!
Finally I can vote! I've been waiting forever!
I've been working as a teacher and even some of my friends who went to college couldn't vote.
Two men see a flapper and one knows that she is in a relationship with a gangster.
Even now my sister still lives at home with her husband
The 19th amendment gave women the right to vote after being ratified in 1920
All i know is that I feel liberated with al this change.
Many women were working outside of the home and some went to college and started professional careers.
The makeup is heavy but the short hair and dress really feels freeing!
A majority of women still lived and worked in the home.
The flapper was the face of the new "liberated" woman.
Flappers wore short dresses, with lots of makeup and short bobbed hair.
