" Harrison Bergeron " Kurt Vonnegut, Jr.
Storyboard By:Stella Shaw
"The year was 2081, and everybody was finally equal" (Vonnegut 1).
" ' George and Hazel were watching television. On the screen were ballerinas. A buzzer sounded in George's head." Sounded like somebody hitting a milk bottle with a ball peen hammer.' Said George" (Vonnegut 2).
As the couple were watching t.v, a news bulletin popped up. It said that a prisoner, Harrison Bergeron, had escaped from prison.
At the ballerina dance, Harrison Bergeron came and he stepped up on stage and he took all of his handicaps off. " 'Now watch me become what I can become,' (Vonnegut 6).
" ' I shall now select my empress!" (Vonnegut 7). A ballerina rose and the two of them leaped up to the ceiling and then the handicapper general walked in and killed both of them.
