  • Did you know that Robert Hooke came up with the term "cell"?
  • That's easy!
  • A cork? Maybe I can use this for my homework. Robert Hooke was looking at a cork when he came up with the term "cell". Right?
  • How am I going think like I'm Robert Hooke? He lived from 1635 to 1703. The microscope was probably the newest technology, now we have phones and computers.
  • Robert Hooke came up with a term that we use all the time in science. The only reason he called it a cell was because he thought that the cells looked like where monks lived.
  • What are these? They kind of look like cells with people in them!? Is this what Robert Hooke saw? Maybe I should look closer.
