I guess I am leaving Yancy Academy. Well, at least I get to see my mom again.

"The headmaster sent my mom a letter the following week, making it official: I would not be invited back next year to Yancy Academy." pg-17. Percy gets kicked out of school, but nobody will miss him because he doesn't have any friends except for Grover.
Chap. 3- Character vs. Nature
"There was a huge grinding noise under our feet. Black smoke poured from the dashboard and the whole bus filled with a smell like rotten eggs." pg-26. On Percy and Grover's way home the bus breaks down.
Chap. 5-Character vs. Self
I am a terrible satyr. I am a failure.
"Anyway, Nancy Bobofit was throwing wads of sandwich that stuck in his curly brown hair," pg- 3. On the bus during their field trip to the museum, Nancy was throwing pieces of her sandwich at Grover.
Chap. 4- Character vs. Supernatural
"Outside it really was storming, the kind of storm that cracks trees and blows down houses. There was no horse or eagle on the beach, just lightning making false daylight, and twenty-foot waves pounding the dunes like artillery." pg-41. The storm was blowing hard at Montauk.
"I'm a failure. I'm-I'm the worst satyr in the world." pg-59. Grover is blaming himself for what happened with the Minotaur and says that he is a bad satyr.
"As the monster barreled past, I drove the broken horn straight into his side, right under his furry rib cage." pg-55. Percy was filled with a newfound strength while battling the Minotaur and he defeated it.
