Simone got signed up for gymnastics. She was a natural.
This is so easy! I can also do backflips snd fronts!
OMG! This girl is amazing!
WORK HARD DREAM BIG
As a kid, Simone’s parents weren’t the best. With having drugs in the house from the mom, the kids got taken away for safety. They were put in an orphanage so the mom could get help and the kids weren’t growing up in an unsafe environment.
Simone started competing at high levels and prestige competitions around the world.
Since the grandparents knew it would be hard for the kids to grow up without the guidance of their parents, they adopted the girls. They now have a home and guardians they can finally call mom and dad. The girls love having them as parents.
Simone still had to do schoolwork. She struggle a lot.
I hate this! I don’t know how to do anything!
Simone had a trampoline in her backyard, and would do crazy flips on it all day. Her mom signed her up for gymnastics, and the coaches were very impressed. At th age of 7 she could do flips that level 6’s couldn’t even do. They knew she was special as soon as she entered that gym.
Simone had to make the biggest decisions of her life. This could either be life changing, or go the other way.
I don’t know what to decide. Gym life, or fun teen life!
Simone takes a part in many gymnastics competitions and events. From internationally to state, she can get really busy with gymnastics. She would place in every meet, and became the best gymnast in the world. But this took up her whole life.
I’m so jealous she places 1st in every competition!
Not fair! She wins every competition!
Simone didn’t go to school, instead her parents homeschooled her so she had more time at the gym. But this really got in the way. School was really hard and she always needed extra help. She also felt that she was missing out on the regular teen life. With going to school dances, football games, etc. She didn’t know what to do.
Simone spent days and weeks trying to decide what she wanted to do. She had to choose between being a professional gymnast who’s homeschooled, or to quit and go to public school. Simone cried, and yelled about not wanting either of those. But the decision she made, was a big life changer from here on out.
