Storyboard Text

  • The Journey begins...
  • I should say you’ll need a roof tonight and more, so I will lodge you at my door
  • The Castle
  • Perceval caught sight of a tower starting to appeardown in a valley he was near
  • The Interior
  • The man leaned back in his weakened state and let his elbow take his weight
  • Perceval meets with an old man and is told to keep quiet to protect himself from embarrassment. Perceval is also told that he can stay at the old man's place.
  • The Feast
  • The castle slowly comes into view and Perceval makes his way into its gates.
  • The Three Items
  • The young man saw the maids’ procession and did not dare to ask a question
  • Perceval makes it into the castle and finds the man, wounded and near-death, waiting for him.
  • The Return
  • Perceval enjoyed a feast laid before the king.
  • Three servants come out with a candelabra, a white lance with a blood-stained tip, and a golden goblet. Perceval wanted to know what the goblet was, but refrained from asking, due to the king's advice
  • The king died, and Perceval came across this young maiden, mourning over those lost. She was Perceval's cousin, and the king was in fact, his uncle. If he had just questioned any of the items, he would have been saved.
