  • I have some Amantillado at my house for Luchesi to taste.
  • Setting- Festival time, before lent,  Main Characters- Montressor, Fortunato
  • Climax
  • The Amontillado is back here
  • Main Conflict- Montressor wants revenge on Fortunato Why: Fortunato was bugging him and insulted him. Type: Person vs. Person
  • Falling Action
  • LET ME OUT!!
  • Montresor finds Fortunato at the festival, drunk, and tells him that he had found some Amontillado. He then uses reverse psychology by saying that Luchesi would look at it. Fortunato then goes with Montresor to his house.
  • Resolution
  • When Montresor lures Fortunato down into the catacombs beneath Montresor’s house. Why do you think this event is the most intense? This event is the most intense because you are on your toes and wonder what's going to happen.
  • Montresor tries hard to get Fortunato into the recess. Montresor says lots of things to lure Fortunato, mainly about the Amontillado. Montresor tells Fortunato that the Amontillado is in a recess. Montresor then locks Fortunato in the recess and starts to build a wall in front of the recess. But before Montresor finishes it, when he doesn’t here Fortunato responding, he throws a torch in the recess and finishes the brick.
  • No I tricked you!
  • Montresor killed Fortunato and got away with it.The conflict is resolved because Montresor got his revenge on Fortunato. How does the story end? No one had found Fortunato in 50 years.
  • 50 years later no one knows about Fotunato and Montresor got away with his murdur.
