- Karana sees a ship coming.
- Oh look, a ship!
- Chief Chowig meets Captain Orlov.
- I am Captain Orlov
- I am Chief Chowig.
- Chief Chowig dies.
- Father!, no!
- Karana lives on an island called Ghalas-at with her friends and family.
- Kimki is the new chief.
- Without the help of all, All must perish.
- Captain Orlov and his crew arrive at Ghalas-at to camp on the island and hunt for sea otter.
- Karana and her brother Ramo are left on the island.
- Captain Orlov kills Chief Chowig. After that there was a big battle between the Aleuts and the people of Ghalas-at.
- The wild dogs kill Ramo.
- After the the battle the council decided to stay at Ghalas-at and also chose a new chief to take Chief Chowig's place.
- Kimki found a new island for the people of Ghalas-at to stay on. Ramo forgot to get his fishing spear and went to get it. Karana jumped off the boat to find him. the boat left them on the island alone.
- Ramo is still on the island I have to find him.
- Ramo got a deep wound in his throat and he got killed by the wild dogs. Karana picked him up and new that he was dead. Karana carried him back to the village.
