Storyboard Text

  • I have something to tell you so SIT DOWN WOMAN!!
  • The husband walks in and acts suspicious, the wife insists on taking care of him, getting a drink, and is desperate to make him happy. The author uses imagery to add to the suspence and uses vocabulary that makes her sound desperate.
  • Why hello there Sam, I need some potatoes and cheesecake
  •
  • The husband treats his wife badly and says he has something to tell her but the author doesn't reveal what he says so this creates tension as to what will happen next.
  • I'm so sorry for your loss. Don't worry, we will find the killer.
  • The husband continues to treat her poorly and is about to leave her alone when the wife decides to take action. She uses a frozen lamb leg to smack him in the back of his head. This creates suspense as at this point in time nobody knows what will happen next. This is an unexpected twist as she is usually really obedient.
  • The weapon is probably right under our noses... Hmm...
  • The woman acts cheerful and goes to the grocery store as if nothing has happened. This creates suspense as the reader is anxious to know what she is doing and why she is acting this way.  This foreshadows the end of the story.
  • The woman calls the police in a state of distress. The policemen arrive and start to investigate the scene. This creates suspense as we don't know whether or not the police are going to figure out that the wife is the killer.
  • The wife feeds the policemen the lamb that she has cooked. This eliminates the murder weapon ensuring that they never discover her crime. The man that is thinking creates suspense because perhaps they will catch her at the last second. This is the climactic end as there is a lot of suspense.
