- Jim is on the way to the doctors office while he is calling his mom
- Yes Mom I'm on my way to the doctors office
- Hey Jim you ready for the DNA test?
- Im excited but one question what is even DNA?
- Well you see, DNA is a molecule, Its made up of nucleotides which are lettered C,G,A,T
- What do those stand for?
- The letter C stands for Cytosine, The Gs stand for guanine The As stand for adenine, and lastly the Ts stand for thymine
- You wanna know the cool part about those bonds?
- Yah sure lets hear it
- Those nucleotides can only pair in a certain way. The Cs and only pair with Gs and the As only pair with Ts
- WOW THATS CRAZY
- And to top it of DNA is very cool. Because it contains the instructions needed for a little organism to develop and survive to re produce.
- The DNA sequences must be converted into messages that can be used to produce proteins which do most of the work in our bodies
