Storyboard Text

  • Tanner Burnett Antigone Storyboard-
  • Concept: Harmatia of Creon
  • As long as I am King, no traitor is going to be honored with the loyal man.
  • What have you done, child?
  • Antigone is a criminal! She deserves to die!
  • Don't kill her! I am trying to reason with you!
  • The panel depicts Creon his first day as King. He is vowing to protect the city against traitors and enemies. At first, Creon was an optimistic ruler brand new to the crown. He seemed to have a bright future ahead of him. But his fatal flaw, his stubbornness, would lead to his quick downfall.
  • Piggy shouldn't be given the conch and shouldn't be listened to! He is just a fat stupid person!
  • I don't want to listen to Hamion because he is an adolescent lovestruck fool!
  • Because of his stubbornness, Creon did not listen to any advice given to him until it was too late. By that time, Antigone had killed herself, Haimon had also killed himself because Antigone had killed herself.
  • The two characters both refused to listen to people. Creon refused to listen to Hamion because he thought Hamion was an adolescent lovestruck fool. Jack refused to listen to piggy because he thought piggy was a fat dumb person. Both Creon and Jack were stubborn and had their own reasons they told themselves not to listen to people. They shared the same Harmatia.
  • Creon argues with Hamion and refuses to listen to him. His stubbornness leads him to block Hamion out, and remain with his opinions and actions rather than listen and change.
  • No, you adolescent fool! She will die!
