  • Yup this is a sedimentary rock, these rocks form when particles from other rocks or the remains of plants and animals are pressed and cemented together

  • Yes that is correct ! Igneous rocks are formed form the cooling of molten rock at, or below the surface 
  • What kind of rocks do you think could be found in this area ?
  • Metamorphic rock ! A metamorphic rock forms from  an exiting rock that is changed by heat, pressure, or chemical reactions and this volcano has heat 
  • Students that is it for the field trip i hope ya'll had fun and have learned a lot more of the three types of rocks that there are with all these wonderful examples ya'll have seen
