  • This is Indus river valley  where we grow our crops 
  • Welcome to Mohenjo-Daro! 80,000 people lived in these cities
  • The Indus river is the longet river in paikstan over 3,000 kilometers,used the river for drinking water
  • The Indus valley people had no money  so they traded their goods
  • This are the houses they lived on west of the indus river. built houses on top other old houses
  • The roof is like an extra room 
  • As their civilization grew  the Indus river people built house on top of older ones
  • Trade was very important to the Indus valley.They would travel to other places inboats to exchange their goods.
  • In their roofs they had a kitchen since it was cooler up top .their houses were built out of mud bricks.
  • When they traded their goods they use something called a seal which was used like a tag for ownership for person who traded it
  • Seals were flat pieces of stone that had writing    carved into it
