  • My accomplishments are being the 1st person to use an artificial heart and being one of the 1st doctors to perform a coronary bypass surgery.

  • My accomplishments were being the 1st to perform a triumphant heart transplant and 1st to perform an implantation of an artificial heart.
  • Walter Cunningham was born on March 16,1932. He joined the U.S. Navy in 1951 , but later was transferred to the Marine Corps from 1953 to 1956. Cunningham attended the University of California and majored in physics. He became an American astronaut and participated in the Apollo 7 mission in 1968. He died on April 5, 2008.

  • My accomplishments are being the  1st woman at Harvard in the surgery department and 1st women in Texas to become a pediatric surgeon. 
  • Micheal DeBakey was born on September 7, 1908. In 1928 he attended Tulane University. DeBakey invented roller pump for the heart. In 1964 he was one of the 1st doctors to perform a coronary bypass surgery. In 1966 he was the 1st person ever to use an artificial heart. He died on July 11, 2008.

  • Denton Cooley was born on August 22, 1920. He graduated from the University of Texas in 1941. After serving in World War 2, he continued his heart surgery training in London. Cooley joined Baylor college and worked with Micheal DeBakey in 1951. In 1962 he became the 1st person to perform  a successful heart transplant. In 1969 Denton Cooley was the first person ever to perform an implantation of an artificial heart. He died on November 18, 2016 at age 96.

  • My accomplishments are making drills for the oil industry and being the founder of Hughes Tool Company.
  • Benjy Brooks was born on August 10, 1918. When she was just a little girl she was known to perform surgery on her dolls. She attended North Texas State Teacher's College and taught science for 4 years. Benjy Brooks became the 1st first woman at Harvard in the surgery department. On January 1, 1954 she worked as a surgeon in childrens hospitals. On January 1, 1958 Brooks became the 1st women in Texas to become a pediatric surgeon. She died on January 1, 1998.
  • Micheal Dell was born on February 23, 1965. He started building computers in college. In 1984 DELL started to boom in sales. Dell is the founder of DELL. He is worth an estimated amount of 28.6 million, making him the 39th richest person.
  • Howard Hughes Sr. was born on September 9, 1869. He attended Harvard from 1893-1895. When he discovered Spindletop Oilfield in 1901 he began to drill oil from there. In 1907 he attempted to drill his own wells but it didn't quite work out. In 1909, he founded Hughes Tool Company. He died on January 14,1924.
