The success of the first crusade: Although the first crusade was deemed a success, Alexius had not expected the great number of crusaders and so the crusaders often had a hard time getting food and supplies and largely got supplies from Christian areas. This was an important event since it was kinda a new start for the crusaders also won many wars but had too many crusaders.
