This first section of the stone age was the time when early humans did not have permanent homes, for they moved around to follow the herds of animals they ate. These people were hunter/gatherers. They ate wild plants.
People in this period, people learned how to farm for food. This allowed them to settle into one place, forming villages and towns. They discovered not everyone had to farm for everyone to have food. This free time people had caused them to get creative. They made tools and occupations to trade for food.
This is what we live in today. We have some of the same things that humans had in the Neolithic age, but we have developed these more efficiently to our human needs. These things are ideas such as: Homes, farming, jobs, tools, trade and cooking
