  • reality of dystopia 
  • information and classifying it as unfit for the society so therefore he came to the conclusion that the author be sent away so no further information  get to the public.  In this dystopia, knowledge is banned because they are afraid of the power individuals can have. Reality of dystopia can be defined as the prohibiting factors enforced upon the creators such as loss of  individuality or loss of knowledge.    
  • " the author's mathematical treatment of the conception of purpose is novel and highly ingenious ,but heretical and, so far as the present social order is concerned ,dangerous and potentially subversive.

  • (Chapter 5,pg 83): Every dystopia usually has  a utopia they are trying for when in reality it creates the dystiopia. is depicting a scene where they are apart of the  Soma distribution on Fords' Day . The distribution of the happy drug,Soma, was there to create their perfect reality when actually it was destroying them.

  • (Chapter ,pg ) : this scene is depicting a professor reading over someone else's

  • (Chapter 7, page 110): the turning event is the event that cause a change leading to the new world. This old world was seen as uncivilzed and dangerous, so perhaps people created the new world so they wouldn't have to suffer pain brought in life throught the use of Soma.

  • John hung himself after waking up and seeing the results of the orgy porgy 
  • (chapter 16 pg 222): totaliterian are in control of the dystopia. Mr . Mond is describing his creation of society and why he implements the happiness aspect of his society.
  • (chapter 15 page 211): The resistance of the protagonist helps call out the failures of the dystopia to the people. Jpohn throws out soma becuase he is so angered with the society and how all are engulfed in soma. He was coming back from visiting the hospital so he was hurt and pushed to react. Since they were programmed nothing happened.

  • (ch 259/258): The resolution determines if the resistance was effective or if they return back to the dystopia. John had fell to negative parts of the dystopia such as hurting others and then being apart of the orgy porgy this onvolvement causes him to kill himself becuase he fell to the society he hated.Also Bernard and Helmholtz were sent away so there was no progress.
