A Pleasant Arrival

A Shift in Mood
The Creature watches in on the family, as they are sorrowful, sitting around, sad.
"He was seized and cast into prison the very day that Safie arrived from Constantinople to join him." (110)
A "pretty" lady arrives at the house, and immediately Felix and the others become happy.
A Plot Unveiled
Everyone is happy now that Safie has arrived. The creature listens in as they teach Safie english, allowing him to learn english as well.
"They found a miserable asylum in the cottage in Germany, were I discovered them." (113)
The creature listens as the backstory of the Cottagers is revealed. The Turkish man mentioned was imprisoned, and Felix goes to break him out.
The plot is discovered, and Felix and his family are punished.
Felix and his family are exiled to Germany, as they loose their wealth and status, to become simple Cottagers.
