Storyboard Text

  • Hello friends, my name is Abraham Lincoln. Today me and my fellow friends will be talking to you about the levels and branches of the government.
  • In the executive branch President Trump is in charge of the federal level and in the state level Governor Matt Bevin is in charge and in the  Local level Mayor Greg Fischer is in charge.
  • In the legislative branch The congress is in charge and is run by the house of Representatives  and the Senate.
  • In the Judicial branch the Supreme Court is in charge and is run by 9 justices.
  • In the executive branch they all have responsibilities But their main responsibility is that they can carry out laws and rules but they can also veto.
  • An interesting fact for the executive branch is that the mayor often stays in the office longer than the president.
  • An interesting fact about the Judicial branch is that the supreme court has 9 justices and they can stay for life until they quit or die.
  • One interesting fact about the Legislative branch is that the state leaders stay in office for 6yrs.
  • Thank You!
