- Welcome, this is the afterlife in Juniper Landing. You are a Lifer!
- I'm Derran Cole and I read "Shadowlands : Here After"

- This is a bad first ushering.
- Rory's First Ushering
- You're going to the Shadowlands!

- Rory's second ushering begins and she has to usher her best friend Aaron
- Rising Action
- I have to usher Aaron? At least I know he will go to the Light!
- This is the beginning of the story where we learn from resident lifer Tristan that Rory is dead and that she ends up in Juniper Landing, a limbo like town, as a lifer who ushers souls to their appropriate after-life.
- No way! Aaron can't have gone to the shadowlands?!
- Climax
- Rory's first ushering ends poorly as Rory has to usher an evil soul to the shadowlands but she gets help from some other lifers to get him to move on.
- I know there's something wrong with this place. My ushering went wrong too!
- It's probably a misunderstanding,the coins never lie...
- We learn that strange things have been happening in Juniper Landing ever since Rory's Arrival and someone is causing it
- I know for a fact Aaron wasn't supposed to go to the Shadowlands!
- Rory gets her second coin, which signifies what ushering she needs to make, and has an easier time doing the next ushering because its her best friend Aaron.

- The bitter sweet ushering of Aaron takes an unexpected turn as Aaron is sent to the shadowlands.
- Rory's ushering unexpectedly sends seemingly innocent Aaron to the Shadowlands
- Other lifers have been having usherings that they believe are wrong and We learn that strange things have been happening in Juniper Landing ever since Rory arrived and that someone is causing it.
- As suspicion arises a search of a lifers room reveals them to be the main suspect of the problems going on around Juniper Landing and they flee the scene leaving the others to chase them.
