  • Declaration of Independence
  • Legislative Branch
  • Executive Branch
  • A historical paper that the colonists signed to separate from the king and start their own government.
  • Judicial Branch
  • The Legislative Branch is one of the three branches of the United States government that creates bills into laws.  It has two houses in it that vote to move the law down to the next branch.
  • Amendments
  • The Executive Branch is another one of the three branches that a law goes through to make sure it will be obeyed.  The president is the head of this branch and the people help vote to make it go through to the third branch.
  • The End
  • The Judicial Branch is another one of the three branches that a law goes through.  People then vote on the law to go to the president for them to decide.
  • The amendment is an article added to the U.S. Constitution.  The constitution has 27 amendments that talked about people's freedom.
