- I'm going to show you real French in-dining experience.
- This is my first time in a French restaurant with a French friend.
- Yay! I'm so excited.
- The French cuisine often consist of 3 courses. The entrée, main course, cheese or dessert.
- A typical French entrée is usually charcuterie, shredded vegetables, olive tapenade or a salad.
- Wow, that is very interesting! I did not know that.
- Main courses generally include either meat, fish or poultry along with some vegetables and starches.
- Some common French desserts are crème brûlée, soufflé and pain au chocolat.
- How about the main courses and desserts?
- When eating out with people, you must always keep your hands on the table.
- You must also eat with both the knife and fork.
- Are there any manners I should follow?
- Anytime! I am very honoured to be the first French person you have ever met.
