Food in The Middle Ages
When the Roman Army disintegrated there was no one to protect people, towns, and cities. There was conflict from invaders and amongst kings and chiefs. This was called feudalism.
The church is the center of medieval life. They decided everything you did. Every manor had a church and a priest and he knows everyone's business.
The food they had in the Middle Ages was complicated. The wealthy had meat and bread to eat and the peasants had vegetables. The knights and kings were very fat and the peasants were very skinny because they did all the work and didn't get a lot of food to eat.
The clothes they had to wear were made out of wool and linen. The men and women all wore similar things. If you were a lady back then and you were married you had to cover your head with a vale.
