The Proclamation Act was a boundary made in the Appalachian Mountains made to prohibit colonists to settle on land acquired by the french.
The Tea Act, 1773
The sugar act was a tax on sugar, molasses, and other goods in large amounts. This tax was placed to help with war deaths the British couldn't pay off so they had the colonists pay it off with their taxes.
The Intolerable Act, 1774
The Boston Massacre was a fight between a patriot mob and a group of British soldiers. Many colonists were killed and the massacre helped unite the colonies against Britain.
First Continental Congress, September 5, 1774
The Tea Act was made to force the colonists to only buy tea from the British and to put a tax on the tea. It hurt colonial trade and got rid of taxes originally imposed other than the tea tax.
The Intolerable Acts were a set of laws put in place by the British due to the Boston tea party. These laws shut down Boston Harbor, one of the biggest ports in the colonies. It had a heavy affect on trade and business between Britain and the colonies.
The first continental congress gave leadership during the american revolution and wrote a draft of the Declaration of Independence. The first continental congress formed because of the intolerable acts which tried to punish Massachusetts for the Boston Tea Party.
