  • Society In Iran
  • First I will tell you about the religion we practice here
  • Iran has two large branches of Islam, they are called Sunni and Shi’i. The official religion in Iran is actually Shi’ism which is practiced by 90% of Iranians. Most Arabian states practice Sunni.
  • Next we will talk about women in Iran society.
  • Women’s rights in Iran are very limited compared to women in developed nations. They are allowed to drive, vote, buy property and work. Women managed work sites and held high-level positions in the military. Men are expected to work and give to their families, but people thought that women didn’t need legal rights and men were there to protect and maintain them.
