Storyboard Text

  • The British are worried of the Acadians, if they turn on them if there is a war between Britain and France. Also because they did not sign the oath.
  • I don't really trust the Acadians.
  • yes, me too.

  • Sign the oath.
  • No!
  • Nope
  • Just let us be neutral!
  • Now they made the order of expulsion of the Acadians. They did that because if they don't sign the oath then the british can not trust them. They think that since the Acadians were part France, they would fight with France and betray the British
  • The people of Acadia still did not sign the oath!
  • Then kick them out of Acadia, they can not be trusted!
  •  The Acadians who did not sign the oath got deported. Some were forced into ships to go to the colonies. The British also burned down their homes
  • Deport them from Acadia!
  • yes sir!
  • The British took the Acadians to the British colonies to work. Some ran away, and they are hiding.
  • Move!
  • Whyyyy!?
  • Put them on the Ship!
  • Most of the Acadians got deported from Acadia. Some of them went to hide in the forest. Some of them starved to death and some died of exposure (British who found them).
