In October of 1789, many women marched to King Louis's palace, demanded for bread, and for Louis and Marie to return to Paris. These women had weapons and killed some guards.

Fall of Napoleon
They were caught trying to escape so they were executed. Most people were very happy about this after realizing their leader would get up and leave when times were hard.
Napoleon had many years of military training, he led a French army and had lots of victories, took title of first consul, signed a concordat with the Pope, set up Napoleonic Laws, and finally crowned himself.
After the battle of Lepzig, Napoleon was exiled to Elba, thinking that was the last of him. Napoleon came back for the battle of Waterloo, and he took a fat loss in that battle so the British exiled him to St. Helena.
