  • Exposition Never break a promise or there are consequences, but you can always fix a broken promise.
  • ¨Supposedly, he had a great great grandfather who had  stolen a pig from a one legged gypsy. She had put a curse on him and all his decendants¨ (pg 8)
  • Rising Action #1
  • ´´´I should warn you,´ Stanley said. ´I´m not exactly the luckiest guy in the world´´(pg 160).
  • Rising Action #2
  • ´´If there was no water, no refugee, then they would have nothing, not even hope¨(pg 167).
  • He broke a promise, and the consequence was that he was cursed for all eternity.
  • Climax
  • "As he lay face down in the muddy ditch... you need water to make mud!" (pg 171) 
  • This is another consequence to Stanley´s great-great grandfather breaking a promise.
  • Falling Action
  • "Zero's condition continued to improve" (pg 182).
  • This is yet another consequence to Stanley because of his great great grandfather.
  • Resolution
  • "The Attorny General closed Camp Green Lake... In a few years, Camp Green Lake will become a Girl Scout camp." (pg 229)
  • This relates to my theme because when he carried Zero up the mountain, it broke the curse.
  • This relates to my theme because he broke the curse and life is slowly starting to get better.
  • This relates to my theme because the curse is now completly broken and life is now back to normal.
