Ears helps us to hear sounds around us .

Structure of human ear
The Pinna, a flap of skin and cartilage collect sound waves and funnel them into the ear canal
The Auditory ossicles are small bones that carry the vibrations from the eardrum to the cochlea. They amplify the vibrations . These bones are called the hammer, the anvil , and the stirrup .

Sound waves that travel through the ear canal makes the eardrum vibrate
The eardrum is the soft membrane that separates the inner ear and outer ear
The outer ear canal is the tube that connects the pinna to the Eardrum

The cochlea is a spiral shaped chamber that is filled with liquid and lined with hairs. It converts the vibrations into electrical signals .
The Auditory nerve connects the cochlea to the brain. It caries the electric signals to the brain

For this we have hearing aids.....
As our ears plays an important role.... but what if someone loses their hearing?
A Hearing aid is a device used to help people who have a hearing loss. Hearing aids can fit on or in the ear and will amplify sound using electronics
