  • This photo is an example of newtons first law because the women shopping is acting on a force (the shirts for sale), by picking it up off of the rack.
  • Newtons first law states that an object at rest stays the same unless acted on by an outside force. 
  • Newtons second law is the acceloration of an object, the net force acting upon the object, and the mass of the object.
  • This picture is an example of newtons second law because the person is lifting a weight opposite of the gravitational force.
  • This photo shows a women jumping off of a boat. The action of the photo is the women jumping off. The reaction is the boat (moving opposite of the women).
  • Newtons third law is the law that states that every force has its equal and opposite.
  • Four people getting stopped while walking to a coffee shop by a police officer. This shows newtons first law by the police officer being the outside force acting on an object.
  • This is an example of newtons second law because the man holding the other is resisting gravity to hold him up.
  • Two men playing tug of war. This is an example of newtons third law because both of the men are reacting to eachother. plus they both have their own reaction.
