  • Claire Martin.  Jackson Anderson will stay on the twenty dollar bill.

  • Why: Andrew led this movement that strengthened greater rights for the common man. He created more right for white men which beneifited him because more people would end up voting for him. 
  • Definition: A movement or more democracy in American government in the 1830s.

  • Definition: The practice of a successful political party giving public office to its supporters. 
  • How: In politics and government, after winning an election they give the government civil service jobs to its supporters, friends, and relative as a reward for working toward victory.

  • Definiton: The Indian Removal Act was signed into law by President Andrew Jackson on May 28, 1830, authorizing the president to rant unsettled lands west of Mississippi in existing for Indian lands within existing state borders. 
  • Here, Andrew Jackson shows that he is worthy of being president and remaining on the twenty dollar bill because he created more voting right for the white men.

  • I think that Andrew Jackson should be on the twenty dollar bill because here it shows, there might have been a bank war with the political struggle that developed over time, but Jackson tried to fix that problem.What Andrew did to help with the bank war was rechartering the Second Bank of the United States bank during his presidency.
