I traveled with my family a year ago to PaipaOur first stop was at the Neusa reservoir, where there was a kite festival. We have lunch there and then we continued our way to Paipa.
We arrived in Paipa and stayed in a very comfortable and cozy cabin. We left the suitcases in the cabin and went out to see the town.
The second day we went to the natural pools of Paipa. From there, we got to know the Vargas swamp, where there were more tourists than in Paipa. Finally, at night we went out to dinner and visited Iza, a municipality in Boyacá that is more colonial and smaller than Paipa.
The third day, it was a sunny day, with some cold, so we decided to go to the Laguna de Tota, which is surrounded by sand, lots of trees and tranquility.
Then we returned to iza, tried different desserts, explored the Bochica cave and listened to some of its legends and myths.
At the end of the day, we returned to Bogotá, I really get bent out of shape.
