  • Civil Rights Act of 1866
  • They are breaking the Law!
  • Come get your bags to move and get out of this bad place. The president signed a law making us free once again.
  • 13th Amendent
  • I'm coming as fast as I can mother!
  • 14th Amendment
  • 1 + 4 = 5
  • Nice job new kid, but you won't get it next time.
  • That's not fair!
  • The two men at the door are talking and sharing black codes and breaking the law. The civil rights act of 1866 said that black codes were illegal to talk about or letters sending black codes.
  • 15th Amendement
  • The 13th Amedment made is so that slaves in the south were free. After free the slaves moved to the north to help the union win the war. In this , the mother is getting her son to pack his bags so they can move. And the could just walking off the farm.
  • The 14th Amedment allowed slaves to have citizenship. The helped slaves get jobs. In this, there is a black boy attending a white school.
  • This mother voting for the first time in her life. The 15th Amedment allowed slaves to vote.
  • Yay!, I can finally vote. I can't wait.
