Josephine tells her sister Louise that her husband Brently has been reported dead in an accident.
NOOOOOOOO, MY SUGAR PEA'S GONE!!!
Louise, I have something to tell you... Your husband is dead.
Mrs. Mallard then goes into her room and weeps on a chair by a window sad about her husband.
She looked outside into the square where she saw a peddler, sparrows, and rain that had begun to start pouring.
PIE'S FOR SALE, GET 'EM WHILE THEY'RE HOT!!
Mrs. Mallard realizes that after all those years of oppression from her husband shes finally free of him and can live life how she pleases.
Tree, tree, TREE!!
She got out of her room happy as can be and walked down the stairs with her sister who was calling her.
As Mrs. Mallard descends down the stairs she sees her husband standing in front of the doorway, unharmed and alive. She dies from the shock.
