Age of Relationship Laws pt 2
This storyboard does not have a description.
The final bill, that shall be passed, reads: "Any person in an intimate relationship, except for those where both partners are over age 21, should be no more than 2 years older than their partner."
With the bill passed by MP's, it must be read three more times and either passed or changed by the Senate.
While the Senate can't stop the bill, they can hold it up and return it for more voting.
Once the bill is signed by our Governor General, representing the Queen, then the bill becomes an Act of Parliament, better known as a law.
This is the process of a federal bill becoming a law!
