Rome is located on a hill called the Palatine that over looked the Tiber River. Rome is on a peninsula that is south of Greece. and is shaped like a boot.

The princess of Rome had twins and her father was the the Roman god Mars, and her uncle was the king of Rome. Her uncle thought the twins would overthrow him as king, so he sent them to be drowned and killed. A wolf found them in the water and saved them. They grew up and fought over who would be king and Romulus killed Remus then named it Rome.

The Romans adapted some things from Etruscan. This including the arch and cuniculus. The archway could have been used in doorways or entrances.

The Romans adapted two bloody sports from Etruscan. They adapted slave fighting and Chariot races which were participated in stadiums for all to watch.
The Romans used Etruscan building styles. They made marble temples for their gods and used concrete to make large buildings, they also had columns to help with the structure of their buildings.
The Romans used an alphabet like the Greeks, they carved important documents into walls and columns, and they also wrote in all capital letters like the Greeks. Romans copied Greeks style of pottery but painters used Greek art as a model but made thiers more realistic and wealthy Romans would build temples and monuments in Greek styles. Roman religion was influenced by Etruscan religion, the Romans had the same gods at Greece but gave them Roman names, and they were more concerned with doing the right rituals then stories of the gods.
