Storyboard Text

  • Jennifer Suazo and Lauren Gurel
  • In Rikki-Tikki-Tavi, RTT had to fight big several snakes to keep his home & protect the family that helped him.
  • Bravery
  • The theme is to be brave at all times & stand up for yourself & others.
  • Bungalow's Garden
  • "When he revived, he was lying in the hot sun on the middle of a garden path" and "It was a large garden, only half-cultivated, with bushes, as big as summerhouses, of Marshal Niel roses, lime and orange trees, clumps of bamboos, and thickets of high grass.
  • You saved my Son!!
  • Rikki-Tikki-Tavi by Rudyard Kipling
  • Rikki-tikki-tavi
  • "He was a mongoose, rather like a cat in his fur & his tail but quite like a weasel in his head & his habitats" and "RTT felt his eyes growing red & hot when a mongoose"s eyes grow red he's angry."
  • "You never know how strong you are until being strong is the ONLY option you have left." -Bob Marley
  • RTT vs. Snakes
  • "When a snake misses its stroke, it never says anything or gives any sign of what it means to do next. RTT didn't care to follow them, for he didn't feel sure that he could manage two snakes a once so he trotted off to the gravel path near the house & sat down to think."
  • The setting helped support the theme because RTT had to be brave against everything outside (snakes).
  • In Conclusion
  • We think that the conflict helped/supported the theme the most because fighting the snakes is what made RTT brave. The conflict plays a huge part in the story and it takes time to express the conflict and how that is his only option due to trying to protect both the family and himself.
  • The setting helped support the theme because RTT had to be brave against everything outside (snakes).
  • The  Conflict helped because fighting the snakes was the only option he had so he had to be brave & protect his family & himself.
