exposition: The narrator has lived with the Old Man for a long time, but he hates his vulture eye.
conflict: The narrator doesn't like the Old Man's eye.
I have nightmares about that disturbing eye!
Climax: The narrator plots to kill the man so that the eye can no longer disturb him.
I shall kill the man so that his eye can no longer bother me!
Climax: After many days of plotting the master's murder, the narrator kills the old man.
Falling action: Once the Old Man is dead, the narrator places his body parts into the floor board. Then the police arrive at his door.
Resolution: The narrator give the police a tour of the house, and they start talking. The narrator starts to get very anxious about his deeds because of the pounding of the heart. Finally he confesses, and takes out the remains of the body.
