Scene 1: Three witches meet in a desert heath. They set an atmosphere of chaos and confusion for the play.
Scene 2: King Duncan speaks of Macbeth and Banquo's courage during battle, he also gives the title of Thane of Cawdor to Macbeth.
Death the the traitorous Thane! Let Macbeth have the title!
Scene 3: The three witches appear to Macbeth and Banquo. They hail Macbeth as Thane of Glamis, Cawdor, and the King of Scotland. Banquo is told his sons will be kings. Macbeth remains confused but it amazed when Ross tells him he is now Thane of Cawdor, making the prophecy true.
Scene 4: Macbeth and Banqou met with King Duncan. The King declares Malcolm heir to the throne, causing Macbeth to realize who now stands in his way as he thinks of killing.
Scene 5: Lady Macbeth resolves to convince Macbeth to do whatever needs to be done to seize the crown. She vows to put her femininity aside for this task.
Scene 6 & 7: Duncan arrives to the Macbeth castle and speaks highly of the hospitality. Macbeth then ponders whether or not to kill Duncan, but Lady Macbeth convinces him by questioning his manhood.
