Hello Mrs. Black, thank you for coming in to see me today. It's very nice to meet you.
Hello, thank you for having this meeting with me. It is nice to meet you too.
Yolo is a joy to have in class. He is very enthusiastic and tries hard to participate in lessons. Although, we have been having problems with his behaviors with his peers.
I'm sorry to hear that. What kind of behaviors do you mean?
That sounds helpful. How can we we help him at home?
Yolo has been having difficulty making friends in the classroom. He has been teasing his peers, and saying things about them that are untrue. We have been working with Yolo on strategies to improve his social skills. I have also created a behavior chart that Yolo and I can discuss to see how his day goes.
I will keep in contact with you about any behaviors we see in class. It would be great if you could speak with him about these behaviors as well. I would like to make sure we praise him as much as possible when he shows positive behavior, and keep him aware of what behaviors are not appropriate. I will send you resources on how to promote positive social skills.
I will make sure to do that! Thank you for taking the time to help Yolo.
Thank you for taking the time to come and speak with me. I am confident that if we work together Yolo will begin to show improvements quickly.
