Storyboard Text

  • The three witches meet up to decide when to confront Macbeth about the prophecy.
  • Fair is Foul, and Foul is Fair. Hover through the fog and filthy air.
  • Your majesty, Macbeth has fought very well.
  • Meanwhile, Ross tells King Duncan about how valiantly Macbeth has fought.
  • Great joy! Let us replace that Cawdor traitor with great Macbeth instead.
  • Macbeth and Banquo resting on their journey back to Forres. When suddenly...
  • So foul and fair a day I have not seen.
  • All hail, Macbeth! hail to thee, Thane of Glamis and Cawdor, thou shalt be king hereafter!
  • Lesser than Macbeth, and greater. Not so happy, yet much happier. Thou shalt get kings, though thou be none.
  • Speak then to me, who neither beg no fear your favors nor your hate.
  • Both Macbeth and Banquo are given prophecies about their future.
  • Both joke at how impossible the concept of king seems.
  • Your children shall be kings.
  • Were such things here as we do speak about? Or have we eaten on insane root?
  • You SHALL be king!
