  • We must clean off these false decorations.
  • I’ll remember. When Caesar says “do this,” it is done.
  • Two tribunes, Flavius and Murellus, where clearing out decorations from the streets that were put up for the return of Julius Caesar and his victory against Pompey.
  • Julius Caesar tells Antony to touch Calphurnia during the race because it is said that when a women is touched by a runner she becomes fertile.
  • Cassius talks to Brutus about Caesar. He slanders Caesar name and says that while some people think of him as a god he knows that Caesar is truly a man.
  • So can I. In fact, every imprisoned man holds in his own hand the tool to free himself.
  • During the festivities, Caesar is offered a crown three times. He refuses the crown each time and with each refusal the crowd gets louder and louder.
  • There is a harsh storm one night with strange animals moving around the city and people running through the streets.
  • Casca and Cassius conspire during the storm against Caesar. They call him a wolf among sheep that they would rather commit suicide then live under Caesar's rule.
