  • Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter, and Facebook are all influences and just because some popular celebrity gets this make up or gets this new top doesn’t mean that you have to. The photos that people post are usually staged and they quite often are getting paid to portray this new outfit, or or advertise this new makeup brand. Even if your friends do it you don’t necessarily need to do it. If you don’t feel comfortable doing something don’t do it go your own way start you new trend don’t change your life to suit your friends. Being beautiful means to be yourself so if you have to change the way you act, dress, eat, or think, just be yourself. Remind yourself to undo your actions and be yourself one again.
  • When you were a young child or toddler you were most likely told to ‘follow your dreams’ or ‘believe’ or something like that. But as we get older we lose track of our dreams and then end you not knowing anything about yourself or what your dreams are. It is important to believe when growing up to see your future, to find you passion and to light the fire in your soul. To follow your dreams doesn't mean that your dream is your friends because deep down everyone has their own dream. However when you follow your friends you will quite possibly end up doing something that wasn’t your passion or your dream.
  •  Caring for yourself is very important during the teenage stages. You have to care for yourself because otherwise you will end up really unhealthy and would have low self esteem. Low self esteem could also occur if you are a really generous person because you might give, and give, and give but have nothing left for yourself. You are left thinking ‘oh I can’t even give anything to myself’ and all negative thoughts about how you are useless but really you aren’t. If you don’t care for your physical health your may either find yourself really, really hungry and eat, and eat and eat, then put on massive amounts of weight. Or you may find yourself eat nothing and become really skinny and unhealthy also.
